About

My name is Emma Carman, I am a 28 year old wife and mother from Kentucky. Me and my family live in a house that was built in 1849 by the Dix River.

I started learning how to silversmith when I was 34 weeks pregnant with my second son. I was used to working along side my husband in our shop on whatever project truck he was working on at that moment or on his pulling truck. But as pregnancy progressed, my energy was low and I wasn't able to be as active as I was used to. So I needed something to do before I completely lost my mind. I saw some videos on ring making, and immediately fell in love with the process after that very first ring that I made. Even though it was nothing special, and far from perfect, I still wear it everyday!

I had a new found passion that proved to be just what I needed to help me through the end of pregnancy and postpartum as I continued to work on my skills slowly but surely during those newborn weeks and recovery. A few months later when I was finally confident about the quality of my jewelry, I made my very first sale!

I continue to learn and improve more everyday as I craft each one of my pieces start to finish with the very best of care, in hopes that each one of my projects shows my passion for what I do, as I strive to make my jewelry the best quality possible so people will love their pieces as much as I loved making them!
